I didn’t sleep well last night.
Let me take you back to Monday…
It was a good day, the sun was shining. I got up early, walked the dog, went to work, completed everything by lunchtime and then went to the gym.
Man it was good to get back to the gym. I did a workout, then went for a swim, spent some time in the steam room and sauna, had a shower and still got home in time to give Max his dinner dessert and put him to bed.
Yes, I admit it, I was pretty pleased with myself.
Fast forward to last night.
Owwwwww… I’ve got some serious stomach pains. Clearly I did too many situps!
Whenever I move it hurts.
My stomach hurts, my arms hurt, my back muscles hurt, in fact the only part that doesn’t hurt are my legs.
Which indicates I didn’t do enough exercise on my legs 😀
What’s the solution?
When I was younger the solution would have been to go straight back to the gym, and that’s what my gut is telling me to do.
But the pain in my body is saying it’s far better to go to the pub and have a drink.
Possibly a massage?!
What would you do?
