Currently there are 2.6 billion email users. That’s…
By 2019 there’s predicted to be 2,900,000,000 email users. That’s an extra 300 million users!
And some people say that email is a dying medium!
It’s still absolutely smashing it and going to be smashing it for years to come.
But that’s not what I wanted to write about in todays email.
What I wanted to ask you is…
How often do you check your mobile phone?
The average smartphone user checks their phone 87 times a day and spends up to five hours browsing, using apps and…
In fact 67% of consumers check their emails on a mobile phone or tablet.
And yet… most marketers don’t check that their emails look good on mobiles.
Do this at your peril.
There’s nothing complicated in doing this. Send yourself a test email and then check it on your mobile.
Make sure that the subject line makes sense and works on your phone. If it doesn’t, change it.
With 67% of consumers checking emails on their mobile phones or tablets, you want to be 100% sure that you’re CTA (call to action) is appealing to them.
Over and out.
P.S. If you’re wondering who I use for sending these emails, then the answer is AWeber. You can get a free trial to their service here.
