The Magic Eye

Do you remember the magic eye puzzles?

They were images that looked like someone on LSD had got control of a paint brush, and decided to paint.

If you stared at them in the right way, then you’d get a 3D image appear in the middle of them.

During the 90’s, these were all the rage, everyone was doing them. In order to see the 3D picture, you kinda had to go cross-eyed and focus on a point on the other side of the image.

Which meant that when you looked at someone trying to see what the 3D picture was, they looked like they should be checked in for a long-stay at a hospital.

But some people just couldn’t see it. They were being told that there was something in the image if they could just focus on it in the right way, but they couldn’t see it for themselves.

That’s how a lot of people feel about internet marketing.

They’re being told by that it’s possible to make a lot of money online, but they just can’t see how to do that themselves.

It’s like a page filled with colourful noise, and you just can’t get the clear image.

Here’s how I did it with the magic eye images…

I listened to what people were telling me. I tried to see the picture using their techniques, and occasionally I’d get a little glimpse of the 3D image.

Which meant I knew it was there, I just couldn’t see it. Yet.

But I didn’t give up. I kept trying for hours on end, focusing in different ways, looking through the image, above the image, out of the corner of my eye and more.

Then suddenly, one day, the 3D image just appeared!

And when I’d got it once, I could repeat it. And every time I repeated it, it got easier and easier. I got quicker and quicker at seeing the image, until I began to just do it automatically, whenever I saw a magic eye picture.

It’s the same with internet marketing.

You can use other peoples strategies and techniques. But the only person who can make it work… is you.

Keep trying and trying and trying until it works. Which will happily suddenly, and unexpectedly, one day.

Occasionally you’ll get a glimpse of being able to make money online. You’ll make your first sale, but then you’ll struggle for the second.

That’s normal.

Focus, and try again. Every time you do it, it will get easier and easier.
